PThrP Recombinant eiwit

PTHrP is a polypeptide hormone produced by almost every tissue of the body. PTHrP is closely related to parathyroid hormone (PTH), which is secreted from the parathyroid gland, and plays a central role in regulating the extracellular concentrations of calcium and phosphorous. Recombinant human PTHrP is a 9.8 kDa linear polypeptide of 86 amino acid residues.

The lyophilized PTHrP recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. Reconstituted PTHrP is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚ C. As with any protein, exposing PTHrP recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
