Pyrenophorine

Pyrenophorin ((-) -Pyrenophorin) is a fungal metabolite that has been found in D. avenae and has phytotoxic activity. Pyrenophorin shows strong cytotoxicity against several cancer cell lines with IC50 values ranging from 0.07 to 7.8 μM[1][2].
