Recombinant Chlamydia Trachomatis W4-W5

Source : Escherichia Coli. The E.coli derived recombinant 6xHis fusion at C-terminus protein contains Chlamydia TrachomatisMOMP protein epitopes, 191-354 amino acids. Chlamydia is a common term for infection with any bacterium belonging to the phylum Chlamydiae. This term derives from the name of the bacterial genus Chlamydiain the family Chlamydiaceae, order Chlamydiales, class and phylum Chlamydiae. There are two genera in Chlamydiaceae: Chlamydia and Chlamydophila. The genus Chlamydia includes three species: C. trachomatis, C. muridarum, and C. suis.

Chlamydia W4-W5 protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

10mM Tris-HCl, pH 6.5, 100mM Sodium Phosphate and 8M urea.

Chlamydia W4-W5 protein although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
