Source : Escherichia Coli. PCMTD1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is. a single polypeptide chain containing 243 amino acids (1-220) and having a molecular mass of 27kDa. PCMTD1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Protein-L-Isoaspartate O-Methyltransferase 1, also known as PCMTD1, is a part of the methyltransferase superfamily and is situated in the cytoplasm.

Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The PCMTD1 solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl (pH8.0), 20% glycerol, 0.15M NaCl and 1mM DTT.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
