Recombinant humaan IFN-gamma/IFNG-eiwit

IFNG is a member of the type II interferon family. This protein is a soluble cytokine with antiviral, immunoregulatory and anti-tumor properties and is a potent activator of macrophages. Mutations in this gene are associated with aplastic anemia. Recombinant human IFNG protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Human IFN-gamma stimulates cytotoxicity of the WiDr human colon colorectal adenocarcinoma cells. The ED50 range ≤ 0.5 ng/mL.
