Expression Host : HEK293 The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 53.13 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine was reported to stimulate the release of TNF alpha (TNF) and IL1 beta (IL1B) from a monocytic cell line. Immunohistochemical analysis of several nerve tissues indicated that this cytokine is primarily localized to neuronal cell bodies. Alternative splicing results in multiple splice variants.

The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization.
