Recombinant Humaan Mitochondriaal RRNA Methyltransferase 1

Source : E.coli. MRM1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 356 amino acids (21-353) and having a molecular mass of 38.8kDa. MRM1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Mitochondrial rRNA methyltransferase 1 homolog (MRM1) is a part of the RNA methyltransferase TrmH family. MRM1 methylates the ribose of guanosine G-2270 in the peptidyl transferase center of the mitochondrial large ribosomal RNA (21S) .

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The MRM1 solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 30% glycerol, 1mM DTT and 0.1mM PMSF.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
