Source : Escherichia Coli. POLR2C Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 298 amino acids (1-275a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.8kDa. POLR2C is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Polymerase (RNA) II (DNA directed) Polypeptide C (POLR2C) is the 3rd largest subunit of RNA polymerase II. The product of POLR2C consists of a cysteine rich area and exists as a heterodimer with an additional polymerase subunit, POLR2J. Those 2 subunits shape a core subassembly unit of the polymerase.

POLR2C protein solution (0.5mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol 1mM DTT and 0.1M NaCl.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
