Recombinant Humaan Synaptotagmine III

SYT3 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 540 amino acids (76-590) and having a molecular mass of 57.7 kDa.SYT3 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Synaptotagmin-3 (SYT3) is a member of the synaptotagmin family. SYT3 is involved in Ca (2+) -dependent exocytosis of secretory vesicles through Ca (2+) and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain or may function as Ca (2+) sensors in the process of vesicular trafficking and exocytosis.

Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The SYT3 solution (1mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.4M Urea.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
