Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for one week. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Measured by its ability to inhibit BMP-6-induced alkaline phosphatase production by mouse chondrogenic cells (ATDC5) . The ED50 for this effect is 4-16 μg/mL in the presence of 100 ng/mL of recombinant human BMP-6.
