Source : E.coli. LAGE3 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 166 amino acids (1-143) and having a molecular mass of 17.2kDa. LAGE3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. L antigen family member 3 (LAGE3) is a part of the CTAG family. LAGE3 is ubiquitously expressed in somatic tissues unlike the other family members, which are usually expressed only in testis and activated in a broad range of human tumors. LAGE3 is also highly conserved in mouse and rat, suggesting that the encoded protein is functionally significant.

Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The LAGE3 solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 50% glycerol and 2mM DTT.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
