NHLH1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 156 amino acids (1-133) and having a molecular mass of 17.0kDa.NHLH1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. HLH (helix-loop-helix) proteins are a putative transcription factors family. Several HLH proteins take part in growth and development of an extensive range of tissues and species. NHLH1 functions as a DNA-binding protein and has a role in the regulation of cell-type determination in the developing nervous system.

Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The NHLH1 solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.2M NaCl, 2mM DTT and 40% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
