Recombinant Human Neutrophil Cytosolic Factor 1

Source : Escherichia Coli. NCF1 Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 398 amino acids (1-390 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 45.7 kDa. The NCF1 is fused to an 8 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NCF1 is a cytosolic subunit protein of neutrophil NADPH oxidase which aMulti-component enzyme that is activates production of superoxide anion. NCF1, along with NCF2 and a membrane bound cytochrome b558, is necessary for activation of the latent NADPH oxidase necessary for superoxide production. Mutations in this NCF1 have been related with chronic granulomatous disease.

0.5mg/mL solution containing 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 1mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl & 20% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
