Recombinant Human Prefoldin Subunit 4

Source : Escherichia Coli. PFDN4 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 154 amino acids (1-134.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 17.4kDa. PFDN4 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. PFDN4 belongs to the prefoldin beta subunit family. PFDN4 is a heterohexameric chaperone protein that can capture unfolded actin and is a possible transcription factor. Six prefoldin polypeptides, prefoldin 1-6, are known.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The PFDN4 protein solution (1mg/1ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH7.5), 50mM NaCl, 1mM DTT and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
