Recombinant Human RAB21, Member RAS Onogene Family

RAB21 Human Recombinant fused with a 37 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 242 amino acids (18-222 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 27.1kDa. The RAB21 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Ras-related protein Rab-21 (RAB21) belongs to the Ras superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins. Rab21 is an integrin-associated protein and a positive regulator of integrin traffic. Rab21 associates with the cytoplasmic domains of alpha-integrin chains and their expression influences the endo/exocytic traffic of integrins. This function of Rab21 depends on its GTP/GDP cycle and right membrane targeting.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The RAB21 solution (0.5 mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol, 2mM DTT, 200mM NaCl and 1mM PMSF.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
