RGS4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 225 amino acids (1-205 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 25.4kDa.RGS4 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Regulator of G protein signaling 4 (RGS4) is a protein which regulates G protein signaling. Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family members are regulatory molecules which act as GTPase activating proteins (GAPs) for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. Heterotrimeric G proteins serve to convey information from cell surface receptors to intracellular effectors.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

RGS4 protein solution (1mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 5mM DTT, 10% glycerol and 200mM NaCl.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
