SCGB3A2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated homodimer containing a total of 157 (2xPhe22-Val93) amino acids including a 6 aa linker and 6 aa His tag at C-terminus. The total calculated molecular mass is 17.1kDa. Secretoglobin Family 3A Member 2 (SCGB3A2) is a secreted lung surfactant protein and a downstream target of thyroid transcription factor. A single nucleotide polymorphism in the promoter of the SCGB3A2 gene results in susceptibility to asthma.

SCGB3A2 solution at a concentration of 0.25mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 8.0.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
