Source : Escherichia Coli. SPECC1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 327 amino acids (458-761a.a) and having a molecular mass of 37.7kDa. SPECC1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Sperm Antigen With Calponin Homology And Coiled-Coil 1 (SPECC1) which is a part of the cytospin-A family takes part in cytokinesis and spindle organization. SPECC1 takes part in actin cytoskeleton organization and microtubule stabilization and therefore necessary for proper cell adhesion and migration.

Greater than 80.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

SPECC1 protein solution (0.25mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol 1mM DTT and 0.1M NaCl.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
