Recombinant Human UNC-119 Homolog B

UNC119B Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 271 amino acids (1-251) and having a molecular mass of 30.3kDa.UNC119B is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. UCN119B is a member of the PDE6D/unc-119 family. UCN119B has a large number of photoreceptors of the retina. Additionaly, UCN119B has a strong homology with the C. elegans unc119 and is able to functionally complement the C. elegans unc119 mutation gene.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The UNC119B solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 100mM NaCl, 1mM DTT and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
