Recombinant humane N-Myc-interactor

Source : Escherichia Coli. NMI produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 327 amino acids (1-307a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 37.2kDa.NMI is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. N-myc-interactor belongs to the oncogene Myc family which has a significant part in cell proliferation, differentiation, and neoplastic transformation. In Addition, NMI cooperates with all STATs except STAT2 and augments STAT-mediated transcription in response to cytokines IL2 and IFN-gamma. The NMI mRNA is expressed in small quantities in all human fetal and adult tissues tested except brain and but in large quantities in cancer cell line-myeloid leukemias.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The NMI protein solution (0.5mg/1ml) is formulated in 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) 1mM DTT and 20% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
