The SLAMF1 protein is constitutively expressed on peripheral blood memory T cells, T-cell clones, immature thymocytes, and a fraction of B cells, and is swiftly induced on naive T cells after activation. There are probably 2 modes of SLAM signaling: one in which the inhibitor SH2D1A serves as a negative regulator and another in which protein-tyrosine phosphatase 2C (PTPN11) -dependent signal transduction functions.SLAMF1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 240 amino acids (21-237 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 26.7kDa.SLAMF1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

SLAMF1 protein solution (0.5mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M UREA and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
