Human SOX2 protein (Cat. 13890-H07E) at a final concentration of 1 μM was incubated with 500 nM DNA containing the SOX-recognizable sequence (SOX_DNA) or a mutant control (Ctrl_DNA) in a final reaction volume of 5 μL. Human SOX2 protein (Cat. 13890-H07E) induces a clear shift in DNA migration (compare lanes 1 vs. 3 and lanes 2 vs. 4) .
