The Stewart-Grubbs catalyst is an effective catalyst for the cross-metathesis of olefins with numerous allylic substituents. In addition, ChemBeads are chemically coated glass beads designed to enhance flow and chemical uniformity, making them ideal for automated solid dispensing and high-throughput experiments. Notably, the production of ChemBeads does not require additional chemicals or surfactants, enabling precise sub-milligram dispensing of catalysts.
