Synucleozide-2.0

Synucleozid-2.0 is a small-molecule inhibitor targeting the iron-responsive element (IRE) structure in the 5' untranslated region (5'UTR) of SNCA mRNA. Synucleozid-2.0 inhibits ribosome assembly onto SNCA mRNA and selectively reduces α-synuclein protein translation. Synucleozid-2.0 is promising for research of Parkinson's disease (PD) and related α-synucleinopathies[1].
