Talaromyketide B is a polyketide compound with anti-inflammatory activity, discovered in the soil bacterium Talaromyces sp. KYS-41. Talaromyketide B inhibits the activation of the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways and dose-dependently suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-α, as well as the transcriptional activity of inflammatory mediators, including iNOS and COX-2.
