TAN-420E (Dihydroherbimycin A) is an antibiotic, that can be isolated from the fermentation product of Streptomyces hygroscopicus. TAN-420E exhibits cytotoxicity in cancer cells P-388 and KB. TAN-420E scavenges DPPH free radicals with an IC50 of 1.3 μM[1][2].
