The immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human TEAD4

TEAD4 is a member of the transcriptional enhancer factor (TEF) family. The family members contain the TEA/ATTS DNA-binding domain. TEAD4 is preferentially expressed in skeletal muscle, and binds to the M-CAT regulatory element which directs muscle-specific gene expression. TEAD4 is encoded through the use of a non-AUG (TTG) translation initiation codon. This gene encodes a member of the transcriptional enhancer factor (TEF) family. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
