The TRUPCR® VRE Detection Kit is a multiplex real-time PCR assay intended for the qualitative detection ofEnterococcus spp. (E. faecalis and E. faecium), along with detection and differentiation of vancomycin resistance genes (vanA and vanB) in clinical samples or cultured isolates. The results must be interpreted within the context of all relevant clinical and laboratory findings
