UBE2D2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 167 amino acids (1-147) and having a molecular mass of 18.9 kDa.The UBE2D2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. UBE2D2 belongs to the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. UBE2D2 takes part in the ubiquitination of the tumor-suppressor protein p53, which is induced by an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. UBE2D2 catalyzes ubiquitination of IkB-alpha in a SCFB-TRCP and phosphorylation dependent method.

Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The UBE2D2 solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
