The recombinant human GPC3 comprises 546 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 62 kDa, Cleaved partially by a furin-like convertase to N and C-terminal fragment with predicted molecular mass of 38 KDa and 24 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the recombinant protein migrates as an approximately 65.5 kDa, 41.0 kDa and 33.4 kDa protein in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
