Recombinant Chlamydia Trachomatis W5

Source : The E.coli derived recombinant 6x His fusion at C-terminus protein contains Chlamydia Trachomatis MOMP protein epitopes, 252-354 amino acids, and a 6xHis Tag fused at C-terminus. Chlamydia is a common term for infection with any bacterium belonging to the phylum Chlamydiae. This term derives from the name of the bacterial genus Chlamydiain the family Chlamydiaceae, order Chlamydiales, class and phylum Chlamydiae. There are two genera in Chlamydiaceae: Chlamydia and Chlamydophila. The genus Chlamydia includes three species: C. trachomatis, C. muridarum, and C. suis.

Protein is >90% pure as determined by SDS- PAGE.

20mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.2, 1.5M urea and 50% glycerol.

Chlamydia W5 although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
